Then we were off down the Nile from Abu Simbel to Cairo. Click on this link for the full trip . We probably need to warn you that there were a lot of old stones on this trip, and not that many buns

And here is one for the album, a full blown opera at Valencia. Actually we went there for the tapas, which are really, really good. And the bonus is that you have to stuff down the food and wine in the space of the 30 minute opera interval. All meals should be free for all like this.
And even if we had wanted to watch the opera, which we didn't, we could not have seen it as there were a couple of thugs who interposed themselves between us and the action on stage. Neither of us want to tap these guys on the shoulder and ask them to mover seats

Auntie Brenda always looks after us. We have no idea why Edwardo is never allowed out
... before we set off to our Spanish Course, on to the Somme in France, and back to the Gunns before getting home. This link will give you the full story of our adventures on this trip

And another brief stay in Moraira, until we set out again for the North West Passage. It is going to be cold up there Pembroke. We hope the padres have ordered parkas in our size. In the event, it was very cold, but we did get to see a Polar Bear, nearly managed to mail a letter direct to Santa, and celebrated the padre's birthday in style

We transit the Panama Canal (again) | And inevitably we get to look at old stones. This time in Peru |
We then see Christmas and New Year's Eve on the Silver Ray.
Regrettably Father Christmas missed us again this year, but, we have high hopes for next year.
