We arrived in Belice City on one of those jolly wee planes from Cancun Airport, Mexico

| Were met by Ric and driven to Black Rock Hotel- a lovely place but in the middle of nowhere, reached by dire roads!. Back along these the next day to visit Caracol, the | ||||

| country's largest Mayan site. Climbed up to the top of the grand pyramid with the padre & Ric- could look down on the madre!. Good picnic, then some rock pools | ||||

And the next day - after another dose of the dire road! - we crossed the border into Guatemala
