| Stayed a night in Dublin and had supper with Marie. And, eventually, to the Iranian Embassy to obtain those, so elusive, so expensive, visas. Then the hols could start!, South to past Dungarvan, B & B lacking in hosptality, but Seanachai pub was all we feel Ireland is about- and good grub too. Bit wet for us to follow the Copper Coast. | ||||

Dungarvan itself had a good cafe and a fun Wine Shop. Ardmore a twee seaside resort, very bear friendly. Lots of good picnics, on beaches & beside rivers. |

| Next stop, Cullane House, also lacking hospitality, apart from its rocking horse that is. The madre got close to the original abode of her gggrandpa, Stephen Lyons- or likely Lyhane!- at Derreenaling: careful with the pronunciation!, after Interrogating Dan Mac & Father O'Brien. | ||||

And finally that warm Irish welcome from Jim & Ann at Kilroan House- pity we missed their breakfast due to an early flight home!. Visited the National Stud with all its friendly fairies too - lots of photos below!. And a really nice final meal in Harte's in Kildare- made up for missing the final full Irish! |
